Our Auction is Indy Pagan Pride Day's big fundraiser. It's the funding base of the next years event. Auction items are solicited from the general Pagan community as well as we require each vendor donate merchandise totaling a $15.00 minimum value.

All Auction activities take place in the Large Shelter.

We accept Cash, Check, and Credit Card via PayPal. Terms are payable upon placement of the bid and/or when the bidding for that item ends.

The Open Bidding Auction begins promptly at 3PM on the day of the event.

The Auction takes place in 3 separate phases during the event:
  • Buy It Now - From 1030AM to 230PM - Each item is given an estimated value at the beginning of the day. You may purchase it immediately from the Auction Coordinator and ensure that you don't risk someone out bidding you for it.
    • Once an item has a bid on it the original "Buy It Now" price becomes invalid, but can still be placed as a bid on the item with the assurance of being contacted via our new system if you have the highest bid.
  • Silent Auction - From 1030AM to 230AM - After each item is given a minimum bid, placed out for display, and made available for inspection throughout the day.
    • **New this year!** - We are requiring all persons who wish to bid on any items during the silent auction to register their contact information with the Auction Coordinator and be given a bidding ID.
      • This is to ensure bidding anonymity and we are able to contact the winning bidder.
      • No bids are considered valid without the Bidding ID#
      • We are no longer accepting names on the Silent Auction bid slips
    • Once an item has a bid on it the "Buy It Now" price becomes invalid, but that amount can still be placed as a bid on the item with the assurance of being contacted via out new system if you have the highest bid.
    • Each item is available to be bid upon before the 230PM deadline. At that point the bidding slips are gathered.
    • All items are sorted. Items not receiving a bid or more than two bids will go on sale during the Open Bidding portion of the event.
    • If an item receives one or two bids, the winning bidder is contacted to collect and pay for their merchandise.
    • If an item goes to open bidding and does not receive a bid that is higher than the highest bid during the Silent Auction, the person who placed the highest bid on the item during the Silent Auction has won the item and will be contacted to collect and pay for their item.
    • In the end, if you bid the most, you bought it.
  • Open Auction - From 3PM until everything has gone up for bid - An English style also known as an open ascending price auction.
    • Bidding starts at highest point of Three or more bids from Silent Auction or at price determined by the Auctioneer if no bids were placed originally
    • Highest bidder wins.
    • Terms are payable upon winning bid.
